Concept of corn harvester How it Works?
Dec 16, 2025
A corn harvester is a machine used on farms to harvest corn, stripping the stalks about one foot from the ground shooting the stalks through the header to the ground. The corn is stripped from its stalk and then moves through the header to the intake conveyor belt.
The corn harvester is when the corn matures,According to its planting methods and agronomic requirements, machinery is used to complete the production links of corn stalk cutting, tassel picking, peeling, threshing, straw processing, and rotary tillage of the land after harvesting.
In most areas of my country, the grain moisture content of corn at harvest is generally 25% to 35%, or even higher, and cannot be directly threshed during harvest, so the method of harvesting is generally adopted in stages. The first stage of harvesting refers to the processing of directly collecting bracted or peeled corn ears and stalks after the ears are picked; the second stage refers to the threshing of the corn ears in the field or on the field after they are dried in the sun.
